EXILES PACKAGE 2010-11

The Rochdale Supporters Trust continues to operate its special package for any supporter who considers themselves an ‘Exile’. We don’t want to put a mileage qualification on it, as being in ‘Exile’ is a state of mind, not geographical! It is up to you to decide, although we would expect you to be outside the OL postcode district!

We felt that Wembley 2008 demonstrated the huge army of Exiles the club has, totalling many thousands.

Whilst it is not necessarily practical to try and recruit all Exiles to attend regularly, we still feel you can play a significant part in supporting the Club and the Trust.

Therefore, we are once again going to run the EXILES BRANCH where, from our Rochdale base, we will try and co-ordinate as many of you as we can for matches, and provide you with regular email updates from a Trust Board member..

The Exiles Club is run via email alone. This cuts costs and makes for far quicker communication.

The Exiles Package costs exactly the same as normal Trust membership. It’s just £10 for the season and in return you will receive….

1. An update on the eve of each away game.
2. A direct link via email to pose questions to the Club’s Directors at our bi-monthly meetings.
3. A chance to vote via email when the Trust puts a proposal to its members.
4. Full Trust Membership for the season.
5. Information in advance of the ‘meet’ for Exiles at all away games.
6. Two home matches to be a designated Exiles day where the Exiles will act as Match Sponsor. This season saw over 100 exiles pay £30 each to be match sponsor versus Grimsby Town and Morecambe. This included a pre-match tour as well as a Q&A session in the dressing rooms with Keith Hill.
7. Liaison with the Club, on your behalf, to propose that for all-ticket matches (such as the 2009 Gillingham play-off games), exiles will be afforded the opportunity to buy their tickets through the Trust.

We feel we have an army of Exiles which, hitherto, has been untapped. The Dale Supporters Trust wishes to harness as best it can, all of you into a collective body. Exile membership last season was 110. This year we’d like it to rise to 150.
